I guess one downside to having an AI smarter than the smartest human is that you can never become the villain riddler, the one who plants a puzzle bomb or something to test the intelligence of your town. The police would just point an AI at the problem and it would find a solution: the answer to provide, the wire to cut, the words to tell you so that you repent and withdraw. I'm not complaining. "Oh no, AI makes this one perverted fantasy of mine impossible! Everyone, start saying AI bad one hundred times a day!" I'm sharing a random thought. Although, I was devising an encryption algorithm, one that's only decipherable if you're trained and intelligent enough. "Encryption algorithm" might be too fancy of a word for this: you basically remove half of the letters, learn the most unambiguous patterns, infer the rest from the emerging context. I also love highly convoluted texts with multi-dimensional metaphors and convergent clues, like that in the Three Body Problem. Like when you want to refer to a whirlpool so you describe a character running in circles while being in a city that sounds like "Saltstraumen" (the place of the largest whirlpools on Earth) while saying something that contains a quote from Poe's "A Descent into the Maelstrom". And if you want to encode a black hole, you throw in clues for blackness, mass, singularity, cosmos, etc. Such a sweet idea. And it too becomes meaningless for anything but to feel joy. The secretless age's upon us.
