Probably, I’m still a libertarian, but… I thank goodness that the average politician is smarter than the average voter.
Probably, I’m still a libertarian, but… I too have problems with capitalism. Although my views are surely unusual. While the majority of anti-capitalists are angry that the poor retards have too little money, I believe that the poor retards have too much.
Money is the most powerful voting mechanism. It drives progress, creates trends. I want retards to have LESS voting power, NOT MORE.
Retards with extra money are why we have junkies lying on the streets. Retards with extra money are why we see infuriated gamblers kicking slot machines. Retards with extra money drive people to become sex workers, casino owners, drug dealers, grifters. Also, it goes beyond the level of an individual. Retarded nations with tons of extra resources are why we have so-called russia attempting to violently expand.
Maybe there is not enough capitalism in the world? A truly capitalist free market may be better at enforcing natural selection. Junkies will overdose to death. Gamblers will lose everything and starve. Expansionist terrorist formations will be nuked to oblivion by the more advanced civilizations.
Or it may never work very well. The problem is that wealth and intelligence are only weakly correlated. Thus, braindead but passionate scammers will often end up better financially than scientists who aren’t driven by money.
On top of that, high intelligence does not guarantee the good use of money either. I believe that virtue and intelligence are also positively but weakly correlated. Thus, while most intelligent people will invest their money into something meaningful (such as scientific research, innovation, infrastructure, manufacturing efficiency, education, etc.) some will inevitably invest in golden toilets to fuel their insecurities.
So much potential… is wasted.
